You were here
To give me at least a hug
So I could feel
The warmth of your arms
The tenderness of your touch
How I wish
To listen to your whispers
While I close my eyes at dusk
To rise in the morning with a smile
Knowing you will breathe words of love
That touches my heart
How I wish
We weren’t so far apart
Separated by the ocean
Though we share the same sky above
Wishing and hoping we are within touch
So as to join our missing pieces
