If I don't fret
Does it mean that I don't care?
If i don't pray
Does it make me anti God?
Don't be such a naive soul
Living in this world of lies
For what you don't see, the flowers exist
For what you see, heaven may not be real.
Why should I show that I fret?
Not that they care
They just want to know why flowers wither
Not as to why I fret but as to why weeds grow.
I don't have to tell even if I fret
They will not remember
Instead, they add some silly spice
As they relate it to others.
It is still up to me to find solutions
In God's praises, I will not fret
Blank to the world, a likeness in the mirror.
So, why should I show that I fret?

The Flowers Are Talking
In the room drapes with heavy curtains
A speckle of sunlight creeps in between
Donning themselves in different shades of colours
The flowers are talking.
Dainty daisies, brilliant lilies, elegant roses
All crystal crowned in exquisite vases
They come in different form of classes
Carry an air of individual distinction.
Beautiful as they are, sophisticated they may be
Put them together in the same vase
They will get on each other's nerves.
Distinguished by their nurtured personalities
They talk of nothing but of one common interest.
In this room, the flowers are displayed in rows
Adorned by hues and brushes
They are men favourite subject matter.
Their timeless beauty are framed
While time eats into their petals.
What difference does it make?
They wither all the same.

Thorns And Roses
Thorns and roses
Creations of God
Equal rights to live
Equal rights to love
Be it passion of
Thorns and roses
Roses and thorns
Be it affection of
Thorns and thorns
Roses and roses
Blessings showered
Equal from above
A sin it is not for
Roses and roses
Thorns and thorns
To love and adore
To care for one another
Never inscribed
Only a tale
Thorns and thorns
Roses and roses
Is forbidden love
Roses and roses
Thorns and thorns
Like any reflections
On mirror the eyes see
Like any ordinary
Roses and thorns
Strolling on the streets
Despise not souls of
Thorns and thorns
Roses and roses
A feeling blessed
By the almighty Him
Embrace with open heart
The existence of
Roses and roses
Thorns and thorns
Just as God embraces
His delightful
Roses and thorns

Thorns To Thorns, Roses To Roses
Thorns to thorns, Roses to roses
A sin it is not
But creation of God
Thorns to thorns, Roses to roses
Just a common soul
Like the lot of us
Thorns to roses, Roses to thorns
Deride them not
They are family too
Thorns to roses, Roses to thorns
Their loves are as pure
Just like me and you
Thorns to thorns, Roses to roses
Beautiful beings alike
Love is for you too
Thorns to thorns, Roses to roses
Despise you not
Thorns to roses, Roses to thorns
Why do you?

Under The Dull Moonlight
Under the dull moonlight I saw a restless shape
Speckles of light fell upon his face
Sitting on the stairs facing the lake
Radiant eyes but empty gaze
Breezily I strolled by, stole glances dare I
To send a smile I was predictably shy
Inhaled enough courage I made another trip
Slowing down my pace, nervously I greeted
Returned with a smile, we started to chat
My heart ran wild, hidden in cold sweat
Tickling fast was the hour, midnight came uninvited
Let this night lasts forever, let my prayer be heard
Speckles of light fell upon my eyes
Under the dull moonlight
We bid goodbye

Bitter Yet Sweet
In every heart break
A flower will wither
Petal by petal, one upon another
Weeds will grow in lustrous meadow
Strangle each new bloom
In every heart break
Rain will fall
Pearl by pearl upon the window
Clouds will not move when the wind blows
Lifeless like a dead soul
Never let a broken heart
Masks the silver moon
Let a smile drowns all the heart's frowns
May a blink of star brightens the dusk
Heal all grievous sparks
Never let a broken heart
Fogs the golden sun
Let the gaze fades, its ray will radiate
May yesterday's scene no more than a dream
Brisk, bitter yet sweet

A Drop Of Love
A drop of love
Is what it takes
To make me feel beautiful
Gorgeous and not fake.
A drop of hope
Is what it takes
To make me feel alive
And to realize
There is where my future lies.
A drop of care
Is what it takes
To make me shed a tear in good faith.
A drop of You
Is what it takes
To make me complete.
