Under the dull moonlight I saw a restless shape
Speckles of light fell upon his face
Sitting on the stairs facing the lake
Radiant eyes but empty gaze
Breezily I strolled by, stole glances dare I
To send a smile I was predictably shy
Inhaled enough courage I made another trip
Slowing down my pace, nervously I greeted
Returned with a smile, we started to chat
My heart ran wild, hidden in cold sweat
Tickling fast was the hour, midnight came uninvited
Let this night lasts forever, let my prayer be heard
Speckles of light fell upon my eyes
Under the dull moonlight
We bid goodbye
