My eyes are shut but not my brain
A thousand needles piercing through
I try to halt
But I failed
As they pierce deeply
Sanity is gone
My ears are closed but not my heart
A billion drums beating on
I try to mute
But I failed
As they beat fervently
Serenity is ceased
My body is still but not my soul
A million quakes hitting clear
I try to ease
But I failed
As they hit fiercely
The poet is dead

My Farewell To You
Goodbye dear
My farewell to you
For I could not tell
If you would stay or go
Goodbye dear
My farewell to you
For I have not seen your shadow
Dances around my own
Goodbye dear
My farewell to you
For three springs had passed us by
I have not heard your love tune
By my pillow side
Goodbye dear
My farewell to you
For I could not wait for eternity
By then I would have returned
To ashes and earth

Early morning
My farewell to you
For I could not tell
If you would stay or go
Goodbye dear
My farewell to you
For I have not seen your shadow
Dances around my own
Goodbye dear
My farewell to you
For three springs had passed us by
I have not heard your love tune
By my pillow side
Goodbye dear
My farewell to you
For I could not wait for eternity
By then I would have returned
To ashes and earth
